Six unspectacular things about me:
1. I have lived in California my entire life.
2. I went to modeling school as a child
3. I hated my ears my whole life
4. I'd rather read sometimes than sleep
5. I can't sing very well, but I love to sing
6. I have a birthmark shaped like Florida on my leg!

Kim, you've gotta read this book by Yann Martel called "The Life of Pi." I read if last Spring & thought it was easily one of the best fictional books I've ever read. Let me know what ya think when you've finished reading it.

"Train up a child"

This is not just a cliche, it is scripture. And it may very well be one of the most used scriptures. On Tuesday night, my boys participated in their very first communion and foot washing service. Some may think they are too young and don't understand the symbolism, and that may be true, but being that they both have the Holy Ghost and have been baptized, I thought it was time for them to take part. I explained to them what would happen and the reasoning behind it. I also asked them to examine their hearts to make sure they were heaven ready.
