Summer Recap!!

Well summer is drawing to a close very quickly. We have had a lot of fun. The boys and I went to the Capitol with the Boldings. The girls stayed with Melissa and had fun playing with her kids. The girls and I went to Fairytale Town. Ashley and I met her Kindermusik class at the zoo, and enjoyed some one on one time. We have gone on a couple picnics and bike rides. Faith and Caleb came over and they all became Indians for a night. I wish I could show the video from that night, but I haven't figured that out yet. But summer isn't completely over, if fact the best part is yet to come!
In preparation for our next adventure, I went yesterday morning and had my oil changed and my tires rotated. While waiting for my tires to be done and I went into a little kids boutique. On the wall were some signs. One of the signs said My prince did come, I call him "Daddy". I thought that was cute. But the best and truest was the one that said "Home is where my mom is". And that is exactly where we are heading...HOME!!!! Now my parents moved from here almost seven years ago, and I never lived where they live now, but no matter, that is my home because my mom is there!! We will be going to Portland first, where my brother and his wife live, and my two adorable nephews. Then after a week we will head to Coos Bay and be there for about two weeks. I will miss this "home" because this is where the rest of my "family" is. But I am going to enjoy every second of being with my family. I will see you all in September!!!

Awww....Looking at all those fun pictures made me miss you guys SO much!!!! I hope you have loads and loads of fun in Oregon, I just wish so bad that I could be there. :( In Jesus Name we'll be back really soon. I love you all very much. :-)

Oregon is awesome!!!! Miss you, hope I get to see you soon when I visit Cali! Love you tons, and maybe we'll be related someday!! (*GRIN* Well, round-a-boutly)
You and your family are definitely welcome to come visit us anytime! The kids would probably love the snow up here, although I hear it gets really really cold! LOL!

Nella-We would definitely want to come visit, so thank you for the invite, I'll see when we can take you up on it. When will you be visiting next? I can't wait to get home and see pictures of your wedding, I heard it was beautiful!! I do like the idea of us being related, makes me wonder how soon it'll be happening though?? love you more!!!
Stacie- I miss and love you bunches, I wish so bad you could have been here, but I know God has a purpose, so I won't be a big baby about it. Hopefully I'll get to see you soon though, there is always a room at my house for you!
Melissa- I hope you enjoyed seeing your parents too. though it wasn't how you wanted it to be, at least you got to see them. I hope they are doing well.
Jessica- Mom says "HI" (she wanted to know how my crazy friend was doing, do you have any idea who she was talking about?) :)

"Train up a child"

This is not just a cliche, it is scripture. And it may very well be one of the most used scriptures. On Tuesday night, my boys participated in their very first communion and foot washing service. Some may think they are too young and don't understand the symbolism, and that may be true, but being that they both have the Holy Ghost and have been baptized, I thought it was time for them to take part. I explained to them what would happen and the reasoning behind it. I also asked them to examine their hearts to make sure they were heaven ready.
